Terms and Conditions
General Terms
Sunlight Miles is the only and official frequent flyer program of Sunlight Air.
The airlines and the program reserve the rights to alter and update the provisions of the Terms and Conditions whenever necessary. Such alterations and updates take effect immediately upon publishing. To stay updated, we encourage members to regularly review the program’s Terms and Conditions through the Sunlight Air website (www.sunlightair.ph).
Sunlight Air reserves the right to terminate the program for any reason as it deems necessary. In such event, the airlines and the program will exhaust all efforts to remedy any inconvenience that will arise from the program termination.
Sunlight Air and Sunlight Miles bear no liability for any loss or damage resulting from member’s failure to check and update their accounts.
The airline reserves the right to perform preemptive audits and checks on accounts to ensure accordance to the terms and conditions of the program.
As Sunlight Miles is only a privilege and carried out to Sunlight Air passengers and program members without membership or subscription fees, the airlines reserve the right to terminate memberships on grounds of unlawful or illegal activities in conjunction with the member’s dealings with the airlines and the program, be it prior or within the term of membership to the program.
Members may raise suggestions and complaints by sending communication to the airlines and the program through official channels of Sunlight Air and Sunlight Miles.
In cases of proceedings filed against Sunlight Air in relation to Sunlight Miles, the institution of such must be in the proper courts of Paranaque City, Republic of the Philippines to the exclusion of all other venues of action.
The Terms and Conditions set forth for Sunlight Miles by Sunlight Air were crafted in accordance and are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Membership
Membership to Sunlight Miles, the frequent flyer and loyalty program of Sunlight Express Airways or Sunlight Air, is free of charge and does not require any membership fee.
Enrollment to the program is open to any person aged three (3) and above. Infants, persons aged zero to two (0 to 2) are not eligible for enrollment. However, minors should be represented by their parents or legal guardians when transacting with the airlines in relation to the program.
Only individuals are eligible for enrollment. Families, corporations, or other legal entities cannot enroll to the program.
Individuals can enroll to the program through creating a passenger profile/account via the mobile app or the Sunlight Air website’s booking page. Upon creation and acceptance of profile creation terms and conditions, individuals will automatically be enrolled to the program and will be assigned a frequent flyer number.
Once the passenger profile/account is active, the member binds themselves to the terms and conditions of the program.
Membership Tiers
Sunlight Miles has three membership tiers: Gold, Platinum, and Pearl.
The Gold tier is the basic tier wherein all members begin with and get downgraded to.
Members may qualify for automatic upgrade from Gold to Platinum once they meet the criteria in a calendar year. The calendar year starts on January 1 and ends in December 31.
Gold tier members are members that have earned 0-3,499 miles in a calendar year and are entitled to:

Platinum tier members are members that have earned at least 3,500-99,999 miles in a calendar year and are entitled to:

Priority boarding
Platinum tier members enjoy their Platinum benefits automatically upon upgrade and for a whole year following the year when they reached Platinum. For example, a member met the criteria for Platinum on June of this year, the member shall then immediately enjoy Platinum benefits until December 31 of the following year. To keep the Platinum status, the member must earn again at least 3,500 miles from January 1 the following year until December 31 before the expiry of their current Platinum status.
Pearl tier members are members that have accumulated at least 100,000 miles from their date of enrollment and are entitled to:

Additional 10kg baggage allowance for 2 flight segments a year; applicable only to the member and non-transferrable.
The Pearl status is perpetual given that the member shall continue to earn and redeem miles at least once a year. Otherwise, benefits will be frozen until such time that the member has earned miles again.
Expiration of Miles
Earned miles will not expire if the member has at least one (1) activity in a year.
In the event that a member has no activity within the one-year period, all earned miles that were earned one year before or earlier shall expire. For example, a member’s last activity was on December 15, 2025 and there has not been any activity until December 14, 2027, all earned miles from December 14 and earlier shall automatically expire on December 15, 2027.
Activities qualified as valid activities for non-expiry of miles are as follows:
Earning miles through Sunlight Air flights
Redemption of flight rewards
Redemption of ancillary rewards
Program Communications
Members must always ensure that their name and contact details are up to date. Any changes with personal and contact details must be reflected by the member by updating their account through the Sunlight Air website or mobile app.
Members can check their program tier status and available, earned miles through their Sunlight Air accounts.
As part of the program, members may expect to receive news and updates or promotions and advertisements from the airline, the program, or its partners through email or push notification through the mobile app.
Sunlight Air and Sunlight Miles may also contact the member through email in instances of administration and enforcement of the program policies.

Privacy Policy
By virtue of membership to the program, Sunlight Miles members agree to the Privacy Policy of the program synonymous to the Privacy Policy of Sunlight Air.
The program and the airlines shall treat and keep members’ details strictly confidential. The airlines and the program, however, reserve the right to disclose information in instances like, but not limited to, warranted investigations of relevant government agency/ies or in the airlines’ or program’s interest in legal proceedings.
Data sent by the member is received and processed by the airlines and the program are located in the Philippines.
The Privacy Policy of Sunlight Air and Sunlight Miles are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Earning Miles
Members can earn miles through qualifying flights and fares on Sunlight Air.
Qualifying flights are scheduled, commercial flights of Sunlight Air. Chartered flights operated by Sunlight Air or otherwise are not eligible for miles earning.
Depending on the paid fare class, miles earned may differ. Refer to the table below for miles earned per fare class.

Sunlight Air reserves the right to determine which tickets/fare classes separate from those mentioned above are not eligible for miles earning which may include but not limited to the following:
FOC/non-revenue tickets
Industry discounted tickets
Infant tickets with or without seat
Charter tickets
Unused/Forfeited tickets
Refunded tickets
Flight redemption tickets
Travel certificates issued for special purposes or as service recovery efforts
Reward Redemption
Only Sunlight Air is authorized to process redemption requests.
Members or legal guardians/authorized representatives (for minor members) may request for reward redemptions through accomplishing the online reward redemption request form.
Redemption requests of minor members through a parent or legal guardian must abide by the following:
Legal guardian must be at least 18 years old
Submit proof of relationship or guardianship
Member can redeem rewards using their earned miles for their own use or have the reward issued to a nominated beneficiary.
Redemption requests for reward flights must be done at least ten (10) days before the intended date of departure. Requests made less than 10 days may not be accommodated or will be subject to a rush processing fee of Php1,000 per passenger.
Reward flights and ancillaries have no monetary value and are not allowed to be refunded.

Reward Flights
A reward flight is a flight ticket issued by Sunlight Air that may be redeemed by the member or their nominated beneficiary.
Redemption of a reward flight may be for one-way or roundtrip.
Requests for multi-city redemption shall be done per segment and will use the one-way miles requirement.
Use of reward flights are only valid for scheduled, commercial Sunlight Air flights and are subject to availability. Designated seats for reward flights vary among routes and travel dates. Sunlight Air may limit the number of reward flight seats. As such, reward flight requests on flights with fully used up reward seat allocation are subject to availability and confirmation upon reservation.
Member shall pay applicable taxes, fees, charges, and surcharges before the reward flight ticket can be issued.
In case of cancellations or flight disruptions, the member is entitled to compensation and amenities provided in the Air Passenger Bill of Rights of the Philippines with the following exemptions:
Miles will be returned to the member’s account should there be no request for rebooking/rerouting.
Member is not eligible to be transferred to a different airline and can only be reaccommodated or rerouted to another Sunlight Air flight given that there is available space.
Collected fees and taxes shall be refunded to the member except for fees for services which have already been rendered.
Reward flight tickets, in no circumstance, shall earn miles.
Reward flight tickets are not allowed to be requested and issued for an infant. However, it may be issued favoring a child passenger given that the child will be traveling with a companion.
Member may request for an issued reward flight ticket to be rebooked or rerouted only once on the same fare type. A rebooking or rerouting request must be done at least 5 days before the initially issued reward flight ticket’s date of use and is subject to a re-processing fee of Php2,500 per passenger and other applicable charges.

Retroactive Crediting of Miles
Member may request for crediting of miles after a qualifying flight due to allowable circumstances like the following:
Qualifying flight was taken one (1) month prior the member enrollment date.
Member, due to flight disruption or cancellation, has been rerouted to a different flight operated by Sunlight Air or transferred to another airline (OAL) via FIM. In both cases, the miles to be earned/credited is based on the mileage of the original route and original fare type booked.
Member, flying on another airline (OAL), was transferred to a Sunlight Air flight. In such cases, miles to be earned/credited is based on the route and fare type booked by the endorsing airline but subject to the evaluation and approval of Sunlight Air
Other circumstances that may arise resulting to non-crediting of miles subject to Sunlight Air’s evaluation and approval.

Ancillary Rewards
Additional Baggage Allowance
Redemption of additional baggage allowance is per flight segment.
Member shall pay applicable fees, should there be any, before the additional baggage allowance is effected to the member’s flight reservation.
Redemption of additional baggage allowance is not allowed during check-in and will not be considered for payment of excess baggage fees.
